Meet The Trainer
Ben Hazell has been a personal trainer since 2008 and has worked with a variety of clients of various ages and abilities. Areas of specialisms include Olympic lifting, physical conditioning, athletics coaching, adapting exercise suitable for the younger and older generation, as well as cancer rehabilitation programmes.
In 2013, Ben Hazell wanted to be able to offer an essential part of body maintenance by qualifying as a sports massage therapist dealing with injury prevention and rehabilitation.

How often should I visit the gym?
It’s not always about frequency but consistency. As long as you are consistent with your training you will make progress.
If you have time and enjoy training you could have anything up to 10-12 sessions included in a structured programme. However, a minimum of two sessions would be ideal if you would like to have an impact on your desired goals.
Should I have a really strict diet?
No, you do not need a strict diet. As long as you have a varied diet and you are consistent
with your exercise plan, one shouldn’t need to worry too much about their diet (unless there are any underlying problems).
If you are training particularly hard then your recovery foods are essential for you to maintain your training programme.
